What we collect

Make A Wish is a virtual fireworks product. We collect only what is needed to run the service:

• WhatsApp number — to verify you with a one-time password and send your wish link, through MSG91.
• Payment reference — UTR/RRN for manual UPI payments, or a Razorpay order ID for card/UPI-via-Razorpay payments. We do not store card numbers.
• Session cookie — a short-lived, httpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie that keeps you signed in. No tracking cookie is set.
• Approximate location — only if you opt in via "Set location for local ads". See below.

Location for local sponsor ads

If you choose "Set location for local ads", you may either:

• Enter your country, state, and city manually — nothing is sent to a third party.
• Use automatic detection — your IP address is sent to ipapi.co for approximate city-level lookup. ipapi.co's own privacy policy applies to that request. No GPS or precise location is used.

Location data is stored only in your browser session and is never shared with advertisers. You can reset it at any time via "Reset to auto" in the location form.

Payments

Family Wish payments are processed either manually (UPI bank transfer), via Razorpay or via PhonePe. For Razorpay payments, your payment details are entered on Razorpay's hosted checkout and are governed by their privacy policy. We receive only a payment confirmation.

No third-party analytics or ad networks

Make A Wish does not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any ad-network script. Sponsor ads are served directly from our own server — no third-party tracking pixels. We count visits ourselves as simple daily totals, and how many times a Family Wish was opened; nothing in these counts identifies you.

How long we keep your wish

A wish link and the names and message in it are deleted automatically when the link expires. We keep payment records as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your account by contacting us; this may wait until any open complaint or claim is settled.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your data, or withdraw consent, by writing to us with the subject "Withdrawal of consent for processing personal data". Withdrawing consent may stop services that depend on that data.
